Terms of use

These terms apply to use of the JUTEAY website. A separate written proposal or production agreement governs any paid engagement.

Website information

The website describes JUTEAY's current managed service and starting film prices. An enquiry, discussion or proposal does not create a commission. Scope, price, schedule, deliverables and rights are confirmed in writing before production.

Your material

You are responsible for ensuring that you are authorised to discuss and provide any material submitted to JUTEAY. Only public or otherwise publicly shareable authorised material is accepted at present. Do not send confidential, privileged, personal, restricted or sensitive information.

Source-backed does not mean independently verified

JUTEAY can connect statements in delivered content to approved source material and preserve relevant qualifications. Unless expressly agreed, JUTEAY does not independently verify that a customer's report or underlying research is accurate, complete or legally sufficient.

Prices and turnaround

Published starting prices, excluding applicable taxes, are US$3,500 for a focused research film, US$6,000 for a source-backed explainer and US$10,000 for a research mini-documentary. They apply only to eligible work within the stated boundaries. Payment is 50% at commencement and 50% on delivery. Production begins only after the source, audience, scope and production direction are accepted. Client review time, new material, delayed approvals and scope changes are excluded from the agreed production period. Every commission remains subject to a written scope, timetable and final quotation.

Rights and reuse

The applicable proposal will state the customer's permitted uses and the ownership of final deliverables. Third-party materials remain subject to their own licences. Drafts, rejected concepts and internal production materials are not licensed for use unless the agreement says otherwise.

AY Engine

JUTEAY is a managed research-to-media service powered by AY Engine. A JUTEAY engagement does not provide access to AY Engine software, an AY Engine workspace, its complete internal record set or future AY Engine products unless a separate written agreement expressly says otherwise.

No guaranteed outcome

JUTEAY does not guarantee views, engagement, publication, sales, funding, regulatory acceptance or any other external outcome.

Changes

We may update this website and these terms. Changes apply from the effective date displayed here and do not replace the terms of an existing signed agreement.
